Good Day

First post of 2014~~ No, this is not a review of 2013 and nothing related to 2014's resolution because I will never stick to it.. This is about something nice that I experienced during the first week of 2014 \^o^/

Everyone knows that if you stop stretching for more than a week, you are not that flexible any more right? This is especially true for ballerinas coz being flexible is like the most important thing in ballet!

What I want to say is, every dance studio will have a break during December for whatever reason. So during that break (mine was 3 weeks because my teacher was not free), most of the dancers will not do any stretching by themselves because we have so much more things to do XD Well at least I know my classmates didn't.. XD

So when the class finally start again this Monday, I was very worried because stretching can hurts like a bitch! ;~; But then I was surprised that my stretching actually improved! Not only that, I can actually followed the class without feeling too exhausted like I always been, except legs shaking for a bit after lots of jumps.. Hahaha what is this XD

The consequences was that my both my calf muscles and lower rib muscles finally hurts like bitch on Wednesday.. Walking especially going down stairs is the most tedious task T______T Actually right, I often have a bit of muscle ache at my legs after class last year.. Is it a normal occurance? I only have class one hour a week (adult ballet class yo) so I am consider not excercise much? Maybe I should observe again this year.. /.\



This is me in my usual ballet outfit.. That chubby legs looks like it is supposed to be on a kid's body.. Haih.. Nevertheless, it was a good start! Hope that I will be able to keep up and be able to do a split successfully~~ Maybe that will be my 2014's resolution.. Haha orz
